Post – Accounts Preparation – Semi Senior

Due to business growth we are recruiting in our expanding firm of accountants and require a full time AAT/part qualified /qualified by experience accountant, to join our brilliant team in our lovely town centre offices. As a practice we pride ourselves on high standards of client service. The role will report to our Head of Accounts Preparation.   This full time permanent position is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to an interesting and quality client base spanning many sectors.

The successful applicant should have previous experience of working within a busy accountancy practice and be able to independently prepare accounts from incomplete and complete records for large sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as well as be experienced with management accounts. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing corporation tax returns and self-assessment returns for partner review. The role will require some client facing responsibilities.

The role is varied and experience on accounting practice software is vital.  Experience of use of Sage or Xero would also be an advantage.

The role will have the opportunity of progression within the firm based on performance and qualifications. Training will be given to continue studies towards a relevant accounting qualification if required.
